Auctions United personnel consists of a well integrated and highly motivated team that has the common goal of assuring your complete satisfaction. Our team's extensive experience in real estate and auction methods produces results for our clients. We do not just bring a property to auction. Much more is involved. Usually a much higher dollar is obtained by subdividing a property into several smaller tracts. Customers may be interested in individual tracts, combinations of tracts, or the entire property. Advertising also is a very important issue in terms of the success of an auction. All advertising is carefully designed and targeted to specific audiences and localities based on the type of property that is up for auction. Conventional advertising methods such as newspapers, brochures, radio ads, and our web site are some of the methods that we employ to "get the word out" for our clients. In short, Auctions United consists of a team with the experience necessary to assure your satisfaction. In our efforts to do so, we always remember that we are working for you. Jim M. Givens Jim Givens serves as Secretary/Treasurer of Auctions United, Inc. He is also the qualifying broker for Auctions United, Inc. He holds licenses in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Jim received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Real Estate major from Georgia State University in 1981. He is a graduate of Superior Auctioneering School, a member of the Certified Auctioneers Institute, and is a Certified Estate Specialist. Jim has been associated with Auctions United Inc. since its inception in 1979. His 24 years of selling real estate throughout the Southeast gives him a depth of knowledge and experience that is rarely equal in the profession. Jim has served as Floyd County Commissioner in Rome, Georgia from 1991 thru 1994. This experience gives him great insight into issues of zoning and other governmental issues. Jim and his wife Pam have three children, Jay 13, Rachel 8, and Burchfield 4 and they reside in Rome, Georgia. He is a member of

as Deacon. David W. Faulkner David Faulkner is a licensed real estate agent with Auctions United, Inc. He currently holds a real estate license in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. David Faulkner is a graduate of Auburn University with a B.A. degree. He is also a graduate of the Barney Fletcher School of Real Estate. David Faulkner has been affiliated with Auctions United, Inc. since 1983 and has been responsible for managing and marketing sales in Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. David Faulkner is a member of: the Second Avenue Baptist Church in Rome, GA; the Auburn Alumni Association; the Kappa Alpha Order, Nu Chapter; the Georgia Association of Assessing Officials; the Pickens Co., Georgia Chamber of Commerce; the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce; the Rome Jaycees. Info coming soon. Joel Holcombe Joel Holcombe is a licensed Real Estate Agent and Auctioneer in Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama. Joel is a graduate of Coosa High School in Rome, Georgia. He is also a graduate of The Barney Fletcher School of Real Estate and The North Georgia School of Auctioneering. He attended Jacksonville State University where he majored in Business Administration and was a member of the Jacksonville State University Gamecock football team. Joel Holcombe has been affiliated with Auctions United on a full time basis since 2001. He is experienced in selling Farms, Estates, Personal Property, Antiques, Equipment, and Commercial Property. He also currently works at the Atlanta Auto Auction weekly sales. Joel Holcombe is a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Rome, Georgia.
